I (Terri) was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease (chronic inflammatory disease intestinal tract).  Crohn's affected both the large and small intestines.  As the disease had progress I devleoped strictures (narrowing of the intestine due to scar tissue).  The doctor said my case was "severe" and referred me to a surgeon.  The surgeon determined that surgery wouldn't improve things because too much of the bowel was involved and they couldn't resect it.  Throughout my dealings with the disease I was trusting and believing God for healing.  I began attending Kingdom Gates in 2000 and received prayer for healing from the pastors.  Pastor Don said God would begin to put weight on me.  I was underweight so as an act of faith, I purchased a pair of bigger jeans.  I would see them and thank God for his promise.  I soon began to gain weight.  My overall health began to improve.  One of my doctors said they were happy I was improving because he hadn't expexted any improvement.  I have been symptom free the last several years with limited medication.  My last two colonoscopies revealed No active disease and the strictures and scar tissue where completely healed.  My last appointment with a gastroenterologist the doctor turned to the nurse and said, "It really is a miracle that she has been able to overcome all of this."  I continue to thank God for my healing.
